1.- Why do you think the primary and secondary target audience is for The woman in black? Why?

The primary audience for The woman in black would predominately people who enjoy psychological horror films. This is part of the audiences psychographic profile. 

2.- How was The woman in black marketed? (Think about genre(s), subgenre(s), media platforms, target audience, promotions, size of campaign, etc.) 

As part of the marketing campaign for The woman in black, there were several posters issued to increase knowledge of the films release with the public. These posters were posted online, and physical copies printed and placed in establishments such as nation wide cinemas where the film would be screened upon release.

There was a trailer released on Youtube which allowed the potential audience to get an insight into what the film is about. This is likely to entice the target audience to make them want to watch the film when it is released. Although i struggled to find the original source of upload onto Youtube, i estimate that close to eight million people have watched the trailer on this website. There was also a Halloween competition linked to The woman in black for audience members to send in their own ghost stories which would then be recorded by Daniel Radcliffe and put on the DVD when it is released after the film has stopped being screened at cinemas.
